concept

Root is designed as a modern treehouse—a man-made retreat intertwined with nature that fosters independence, inclusion, and creativity. Elevated above the street, guests “climb” into a space sheltered by a canopy of greenery, where natural and engineered materials merge with African-inspired motifs and scientific forms. Darkening materials toward the perimeter enhance a sense of enclosure, while open layouts, sustainable choices, and accessible design support Root’s empowerment-driven mission. Together, the third and fourth floors offer the comfort, wonder, and quiet escape of a treehouse—reimagined for gathering, collaboration, and growth.
